Fish Seed Cultivation in Private Sector in Madhya Pradesh

To provide best quality fish seed to the fish farmers the Government of Madhya Pradesh has formulated a scheme to involve the private sector in fish seed cultivation.

To provide best quality fish seeds to fish farmers at local level

Plan Implementation Process
1. Beneficiary should submit the application to Assistant Director, Fisheries, in the format prescribed along with the copies of Map and Khasra of the land . Soil test will be conducted after inspection of the land by District Fisheries Officer, if found suitable, details og beneficiary will be forwarded to the Bank for loan approval.
2. Once the loan is approved by the Bank, Back ended subsidy will be provided by the department.
3. The approved beneficiary has to approach the department of fisheries after providing complete infrastructure for release of the grant .Then the District officer of the Department will provide the grant.
Eligibility :
Land owners of all sections can be the beneficiary of the scheme.
Amount of Grant:
The plan is being implemented on a 50 percent grant (Minimum 0.5 hectare and maximum 5.00 hectare water area )
Other Information
The scheme is being operated since 2010 – 11 in all Districts of the State.
