Majoni Scheme of Assam

    With the aim to provide special financial assistance to the girl child, the government of Assam launched the Majoni Scheme in 3^rd December 2013.Majoni scheme is executed by the National Rural health Mission.

Eligibility:

• One women get facility for two girl child
• The birth must be in governmental hospital
• The birth must be registered by the governmental procedure

Required Documents:

• Copy of Birth Certificates from the hospital
• Copy of registered certificate from the competent authority
• Two attested photocopies of both mother and father

Benefits:

• Fixed deposit for the new born girl child
• This Scheme pays money to the pregnant women for two health check up
