- Tamil Nadu Government have introduced a new Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme for a sum of Rs. 50,000/- for every employee working in Match and Firework factories in Tamil Nadu.
- Number of persons to be covered is the maximum number of workers actually employed on any one day during the calendar year + 10% extra on the maximum number of workers actually employed.
- The compensation is in addition to the compensation provided under E.S.I. Scheme or Employees Compensation Act.
