Public Department, Tamil Nadu has a Scheme for Physically Challenged people to provide them with grants for Physiotherapy exercise. This Scheme is valid in all the districts of tamil nadu.
Objectives
To help people with physical disabilities in their treatment at concessional rates.
Eligibility
- Orthopaedically handicapped person who have undergone surgical correction are eligible to apply.
- Physiotherapy exercise will also be given to other type of orthopaedically handicapped persons who do not require any surgery.
- Documents need to be submitted – As recommended by the Doctor during the camp.
Benefits
- Physiotherapy exercise is provided to the needy orthopaedically handicapped persons either prior to surgery or after surgical correction.
- Physiotherapy exercise will also be given to other type of orthopaedically handicapped persons who do not require any surgery.
