Sawayamsidha

The government of Assam launched the Sawayamsidha scheme for women empowerment of Assam. The main aim of this scheme is all round employment specially social and economic empowerment of the women. The scheme based on the programme of self help group. It was launched on 29^th November, 2001.

Eligibility:

• All women are eligible for the scheme

Benefits:

• It provides loan to the women to start business
• Provide training facility
• Create confidence in health,nuitrition,status
• At low interest cost
