Pollution is increasing day by day. As a citizen it is our responsible to reduce the environmental pollution. For encouraging the practice of environmental friendly methods for industries, Gujarat Government is providing incentives and assistance to the projects which practice any environmental friendly method that reduces environmental impact.
Period of Operation:
From 1st January 2015 to 31st December 2019
Eligibility:
- Any unit engaged in manufacturing and who intends to adopt green practices in its enterprise will be eligible for assistance under this scheme

Benefits:

| 1. | Periodic Environmental Audits except those required to be carried out under provision of Acts and Rules or Direction of Court Laws | Up to 75 % of fees of audit services with a ceiling or Rs. 1 lac per audit whichever is less |
| 2. | To install online continuous Stack Emission Monitoring System (CEMS), online effluent quality monitors systems with connectivity to GPCB/CETP project for onetime. | Up to 25 % of cost of system or Rs. 5 Lakh, whichever is less. |

Industrial Building of more than 2000 Sq. Mt. built up area which obtain green rating under Indian Green Building Council (IGBC/LEED) or GRIHA | Up to 50% of consulting charges or Rs. 2.5 lakh, whichever is less. |

Setting up of environment management system including the setting up of environment management laboratory | Up to 50% cost of Equipment, Ceiling of Rs. 10 Lac per unit once during operative period. |
| 5. | Purchase of new equipment/system related to safety, occupational health/ environmental compliances for common use of industries located in cluster of minimum 10 units | Up to 35% of cost of equipment, ceiling of Rs 35 lakhs per cluster. |
| 6. | Industries practicing at least 50% of waste water recovery through zero liquid discharge as certified by GPCB | 35% onetime capital subsidy on relevant equipment per system or Rs. 35 lakhs, whichever is less. |
