Sushma Swaraj woos US industry to invest in India for win-win outcome

• External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in her address at the 40th Annual Gala of the US India Business Council ( USIBC), sought investments from the US industry in both public and private sectors in the country for a “win-win” outcome.
• The focus now is on building 100 smart cities; rejuvenating the Ganges river and developing cities along its banks and skilling 300 million youth by 2022, she said.
• She added that the US companies would add value to the society, build long-term links with India’ economic growth story and strengthen economic underpinnings of the India-US strategic partnership.
