Sushrusha Scheme of Assam Government

Sushrusha scheme is one of the scheme of the Assam government, which aim to provide financial assistance to those people who have undergone kidney transplantation. This scheme was launched on 23^rd august, 2010

Eligibility:

• Permanent residence of Assam
• Annual income should be less than Rs 3 lakhs
• Any employees who are receiving reimbursement from the company are not eligible for this scheme.
• Kidney transplantation should be after 1 april,2010
• A nodal officer must certify about the patient

Benefit:

• One time financial assistance-Rs 1 lakh
• It helps the poor people for surgery
