Transportation Allowance to Girls in MP

In the era of 21^st century, Women empowerment has come up as a necessity for the sustainable development of country. The ease of access to the education will lead into increase in willingness to get educated among the students. For this Madhya Pradesh Government has come up with policy for providing transportation allowances to reach to the college

Eligibility:

• Regular Students of a government college.
• Student should be enrolled in or after 2009-10 session.
• Residence should be at least 5 KM away from the college.

Benefits:

Sum of Rs 5 per day will be given to the student as transportation allowance on the basis of college attendance. Allowance will be given for maximum 200 days.
