4 lakh NDMC school students to benefit under PM ‘Bima Yojana’

News:

• NDMC will provide benefit of ‘Pradhan Mantri Surakhsa Bima Yojana’ to 4 lakh municipal school children through their mothers, 70 thousand employees and 80 thousand old-age pensioners, its Mayor Ravinder Gupta said.
• After implementation of the scheme, the beneficiaries and their families will have financial security. It will be a milestone of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation in social responsibility, Mayor said.
• Under this scheme, the contract employees and daily wagers would be benefited.
• The beneficiary will have risk coverage of Rs 2 lakh for accidental death and permanent total disability and Rs 1 lakh for permanent partial disability under this scheme.
