Maharashtra’s Yavatmal to get roads worth Rs 3000 crore: Gadkari

  • Union Minister Nithin Gadkari has sanctioned a sum of Rs 2,873.15 crore for the construction and broadening of various roads and construction of bridges in Yavatmal district in Maharashtra extending to 768 kms.
  • This will generate job opportunity to the unemployed which would enable the administration to curb the spurt in farmers.
  • The funds would be utilized for the construction of by-pass, roads in rural areas and construction of a bridge in Mahagaon-Umarkhed tehsils.
