To provide financial assistance to the Scheduled Castes students studying at post matriculation or post secondary stages to enable them to complete their education, Backward Class Welfare Department, West Bengal Government has launched this scheme. The scholarship is given for study of various recognized post secondary courses pursued in recognized educational institutions.
Eligibility:
- Student should be domicile of West Bengal
- Student should belong to Scheduled Caste category
- Annual Income of parents should not exceed Rs. 2,50,000.
