Rajasthan: District Innovative Fund

In the districts of Rajasthan, various capital assets are lying unused due to the requirement of small repair works. Rajasthan Government under the 13^th Finance Commission has introduced the District Innovation Fund for making assets more useful and functional in the view of providing required small scale investment.

Objective:

To initialize the need for capital assets after completing the required small repairing works

Eligibility:

Any District Council Area will be eligible for availing benefits of the plan.

Benefits:

• Under the plan each district will be provided Rs. 1 Crore for the period of 5 years, as recommended by the 13^th Finance Commission.
• 10% of the work amount will be collected from Self Help Groups/NGOs.
