Spices of Rajasthan are famous and loved all around the world. Many countries prefer Rajasthani Cuisine as Exotic Food. Export of Indian Spices to the western parts of the world has great future. To encourage the exporters for exporting the spices Rajasthan Government has come up with Exports Promotion Scheme. The key features of this scheme are enlisted below:
Eligibility:
Any person or organisation buying spices from the Upaj Mandi or Directly through the farmers exporting to the other country via port or railways or roadways can avail benefits from this scheme
Period of Operation:
The Scheme will be applicable till 31st March 2018.
Spices Under Scheme:
Export of Spices: Cumin, coriander, fennel, fenugreek, celery, red pepper, ginger, turmeric, opinion, garlic, fennel; Both whole grain and processed which are manufactured in state will come under this scheme.
Benefits:
- Reimbursement of Transportation charges from the place of buying to the port: 25% or 500 Rs. Per tonne whichever is less.
- Reimbursement of International Transportation charges of container: 5000 Rs. Per container of 26 tonnes or 500 Rs per tonne whichever is less.
- Places where transportation is possible only by roads: 25% or 500 Rs. Per tonne whichever is less.
- Maximum Grant shall not exceed 10 lakh Rs. For 3 years.
