To provide opportunity for education of Differently Abled Persons, Central Government is providing scholarships. Disabled Empowerment Department has launched these scholarships for the empowerment of disabled people by means of education. The scholarships are available on all levels of education. The details of the scholarship schemes are enlisted below:

- The Scheme is Valid for persons above 40% disability.
- Candidate should have disability certificate from recognized doctor.
- Students can Apply for the first three scholarships by logging on to national scholarships portal scholarships.gov.in
- For National Fellowship Scholarship, Students shall apply for by logging on to ugc.ac.in
- For National Overseas Scholarship, Applications will be invited through advertisement in Newspapers. Candidates will be selected by Department.
