Apple to open development center in Hyderabad, prime focus on mapping & Navigation

Tech giant Apple is planning to establish a technology development centre in Hyderabad. With the booming business environment and market, India has grabbed the attention of the world to invest in the country. Apple is expected to utilize the development center to strengthen its mapping efforts in the large market of India.

• According to Gadgets 360, the giant brand is investing more in India to expand their operations and it is noted that over 15o Apple employees will work towards supporting their mapping efforts in the new development office in Hyderabad.
• The company has also said that their Hyderabad will have space for contractor those will ensure the smooth execution of Apple’s work locally. Their prime focus will be mapping and navigation and the same was conveyed during their last month job posting of preferential candidates in mapping space.
• It is reported that after the company experienced its first major slowdown in iPhone’s sales, it is opting for different options. The company is now looking at developing areas those are mostly unexploited yet and that is where India’s role comes.

The growing importance of India as a business market and destination for investors have grown exponentially in recent times and with Apple establishing a new development office, the euphoria is only going to get better with time.
