Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu launched the Urban Housing Scheme in Vijayawada today. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the scheme is being implemented to 1,20,000 houses in 38 towns for the poor living in urban areas for which the permission has already been given.
Chandrababu asaid that they are planning to add in another 38,000 houses under the scheme which is expected to be completed in 2 years.
Claiming that the previous government had misues the thousands of crores of funds in the name of housing for poor without any beneficiaries under the project, the Chief Minister said that the TDP government is focusing on enabling the availability of commodities within the society.
Elaborating further, Chandrababu said that the govt is planning to construct shops for the convinience of the people and also provide employment in the society.
