8 new national highways sanctioned by Centre to pass through Haryana

News:

• Union road transport minister Nitin Gadkari has laid the foundation stones for two road projects worth Rs 1821.20 crore at Saha in Ambala district and in Sirsa.
• In next five years, national highway works spending Rs 5 lakh crore would be undertaken and it would generate employment opportunities for 50 lakh people.
• Industrial projects would be set up in villages having population of more than 10,000 and the local people would get employment.
