Bosch plans to invest Rs 400 crores in Chennai facility

• Home appliance major Bosch, is planning to spend Rs. 400 crores in its Chennai facility, which currently manufactures washing machines.
• Currently, front-loading washing machines are manufactured at the facility and it has a capacity to produce over 300,000 units a year, so the plan is to  utilise the entire plant to manufacture other products.
• The new 550 sq ft state-of-art store at Vadodara, hosts the entire range of Bosch free-standing and built-in appliances. With this brand store, Bosch will make the leading German patent application more accessible to its customers in the Western region.
