The scheme is about connecting the 13865 gram panchayats digitally to each other and to the district headquarters. The digitization can be done as all the officials are trained on E-Prima and E-Gram software which can be very effective.
Benefits:
- Online availability of the Accounts of the Panchayat through E-prima software.
- Birth and Death Certificates, Income Proof, Caste Proof, Bona-Fide Certificate, Residence Proof etc. and forms/applications of various government schemes will be available through E-Gram.
- Establishing of Taluka Information Centres having touch screen kiosks providing necessary information about all talukas.
- Online availability of the Accounts of the Panchayat through E-prima software.
- The state government provides the necessary hardware and software to link the Gram Panchayats, Taluka Panchayats and District Panchayats to the Secretariat, Gandhinagar.
- Gram Panchayats linked with 256 kbps broadband for video conferencing and free calls through VoIP.
- information related to agriculture, education, health, employment, etc. will be available at the Gram Panchayats.
- Computer entrepreneurs in the village who will manage the e-Gram will be appointed.
- Establishment of Common Service Centers.
Common Service Centers:
Common Service Centers are established to facilitate the following E-Services to the villagers:
- Documents of Land Record (7/12 and 8/A)
- Collection of Property related revenues
- Registration of Birth and Death
- Payment of electricity, telephone, mobile bills etc.
- Documentation work related to community certificates, Certificates Issued by Mamlatdar and Affidavits.
- License, Permission, No Objection Certificates and Insurance
- Telemedicine (cure through video conferencing)
- Market contact links for items related to agriculture
- Sale of stamp papers
- Name transfer in properties
- T.O License, Property Card
- E- services for Railway and Air Reservation
