Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi Department, Tamil Nadu, has a scheme for all Handloom and Powerloom Weavers of Tamil Nadu to provide free free power supply to them.
Objective
- To increase the Handloom production.
- To improve the incomes of the Handloom Weavers.
Eligibility
Handloom Weavers of the State.
Benefits
- Free power supply upto 100 units bimonthly is given to handloom weavers who are having their own worksheds and are engaged in weaving.
- Similarly, free power supply upto 500 units bimonthly is given to the powerloom weavers who run their own powerlooms.
