Jammu and Kashmir government launched the Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Food Entitlement Scheme (MMSFES) to supplement the National Food Security Act in the state.
Objective
- To address the grievance of general public about decrease in their scale of ration after the implementation of National Food Security Act in the state.
- To protect and promote the economic and social well-being of the citizens of J&K.
Eligibility
To all the bonafide rationees of the state belonging to-
- BPL (PHH)- Below Poverty Line (Priority Households).
- PHH (Priority households).
- NPHH (Non Priority households).
- Having family size from 1 to 6.
- Maximum limit of 35 kgs per family.
- The scheme is applicable from 1st July, 2016.
