HRD minister to launch a new app to download NCERT books for class 1-12

News:

• HRD Minister Smriti Irani has announced the launch of a new app which will offer books to the students for free to up the education of the country.
• Under the banner of NCERT, a mobile app will be enabled to the students for downloading NCERT books from class 1 to 12 for free.
• The HRD minister has launched the syllabus and course material for standard 6 to 10, prepared by NCERT and training module for teacher education programme prepared by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) as well.
