Quanta Computers to establish manufacturing base in India

Taiwan’s Quanta Computer the world’s top contract PC manufacturer which makes laptops and assembles watches for Apple, is considering to establish a manufacturing base in India.

• Quanta’s move comes after its rival Foxconn, announced that it will likely plow billions of dollars into establishing 10 to 12 facilities in India by 2020.
• Indian officials are in talks with the company for the potential investments.
