‘Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar’: A hope for Sportsperson

Sportsperson is always a representative of the country. The devote they give towards their passion is always cherishable. To boost up the confidence in their respective sports field the Government has issued “Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar”.

Objective:

• Encourage and Promote involvement of corporates, voluntary organizations, sports control boards etc., in the promotion and development of sports in the country.

Eligibility:

• Any corporate entity
• public or private
• sports control boards
• Non-governmental organization (NGOs) including sports bodies at state and national level.
• The entities should have contributed a minimum of 5% of their gross profit or an amount not less than Rs. 2 crore in the preceding three financial years towards sports promotion and development

Benefits:

• Encouragement to sports through corporate social responsibility.
• Employment to sportspersons and other welfare measures
