Get subsidy upto 20%: Scheme on Cotton and Silk varieties for weavers: Tamil nadu

Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi Department, Tamil Nadu, has a scheme for Handloom weavers of the State which will provide the rebate on their sales.

Objective

To promote the sale of handloom cloth produced by the Handloom weavers co-operative societies.

Eligibility

Handloom Weavers of the state.

Benefit

20% rebate subsidy is provided by the Government on the sale of Handloom cloth throughout the year, subject to the limitation of 20% or Rs.100/- per unit for cotton varieties and 20% or Rs.200/- per unit for silk varieties whichever is less.
