The status of education of the Deaf People in India is extremely poor. Further it is not easy to break the social and semiotic barriers where they live.Therefore the Government of India has come up to establish Deaf College in zonal wise in the country.
Objective:
- To build infrastructure for Deaf College.
Eligibility:
- Colleges affiliated to UGC in five regions in India.
Benefits:
- Financial Assistance will be provided for expansion of infrastructure in eligible colleges.
