Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) aims to give compensation for victims of Electrical accidents who are citizens of their state .
OBJECTIVE
- The main objective of the UPPCL electricity accident compensation scheme is to provide compensation in a hassle-free manner
COMPENSATION WOULD BE PROVIDED TO:
- Any departmental employee
- Contractual employee (during work)
- Outsider (who comes in contact with electric wire)
- Or any animal in case of an electrical accident.
- Furthermore, the victims can also apply for compensation if their crop is destroyed due to an electric fire (spark) accident.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR COMPENSATION
- Medical Certificate
- Post-Mortem Report
- Proprietary Rights Certificate
- Applicant’s Identity Card
HOW TO APPLY FOR COMPENSATION IF ELECTRICAL ACCIDENT OCCURRED WITH THE DEPARTMENTAL EMPLOYEE
By and large, the applicant or complainant can follow the below-given steps and apply for compensation.
- On the dashboard, click on the first tab and fill all the mandatory details marked with *
- Now attach the scanned copy of documents like medical certificate/post-mortem report, Proprietary Rights Certificate and Applicant’s Identity Card in JPEG/JPG/PDF format whose file size should not exceed 1 MB.
- Now click on save button after filling all details correctly
- After submitting the form, you can go ahead with the Print complaint form button for future reference.
HOW TO APPLY FOR COMPENSATION IF ELECTRICAL ACCIDENT OCCURRED WITH CONTRACTUAL EMPLOYEE DURING WORK
- Login to dashboard, click on the second tab and fill all the mandatory details marked with *
- Now attach the scanned copy of documents like Medical Certificate/Post-Mortem Report, Proprietary Rights Certificate and Applicant’s Identity Card in JPEG/JPG/PDF format whose file size should not exceed 1 MB.
- Now click on save button after filling all details correctly
- After submitting the form, you can go ahead with the Print complaint form button for future reference.

HOW TO CHECK APPLICATION STATUS OF COMPENSATION
In the first place submitting the application successfully is important. Additionally following the below steps would be beneficial:
- Visit the UPPCL official website www.upenergy.in
- Enter username and password, and click on login button.
- On the dashboard click on view application status
- The current status of your application will be displayed
