Centre to provide assistance to promote tourism in Uttarakhand

• Uttarakhand state government wishes to develop tourism through an ambitious project of ropeways.
• The Union Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge), Culture (Independent Charge) and Civil Aviation, Dr. Mahesh Sharma held a meeting with Tourism Minister of Uttarakhand, Dinesh Dhanai in New Delhi .
• State government wishes to develop tourism through an ambitious project of ropeways.
• Tehri lake area will be developed as a mega destination under Swadesh Darshan scheme of the Ministry of Tourism.
