IAS topper to be the mascot for department of disabilities

News:

•  IAS topper Ira Singhal could be the mascot to raise awareness about the schemes run by the department of disabilities.
• Social justice minister Thaawar Chand Gehlot said that her achievement shall inspire a whole generation of youth to come forward and achieve glorious heights.
• The ministry officials will hold consultations with top examination bodies, like UPSC, SSC, UGC and others, to ensure a set of guidelines that would achieve the “inclusion and participation” of persons with disabilities.
