India regains most ‘favoured’ market status among global investors

• India is the only large emerging market in Asia region to have posted a positive return in dollar terms; it also is the only market in Asia where FIIs are the net buyers.
• Experts believe that the Indian equity markets are once again gaining the tag of being the most ‘favoured’ market among the global investors.
• They expect the Indian equities to receive a bigger share of the incremental flows coming into Emerging markets.
• The Indian markets still enjoys a significant overweightage position in FIIs portfolio.
