Sanjeevani – Village Health Outreach Programme of Assam

With the motive to provide health facilities to all the age group, the government of Assam launched the Sanjeevani scheme in the year 2011.The aim of this scheme is to provide 24 hours free ambulance facility through 108 and 104 ambulance service and at the same time free medicine to the patient. This scheme was introduced with 80 mobile health units.

Eligibility:

• Any patient can call 108 and 104 for ambulance service
• Prescription is needed for treatment
