Morom Scheme of Assam

The government of Assam launched the Morom scheme with the motive to provide financial assistance to the indoor patient for supplementary nutrition and compensation for wage loss during hospitalization. It is introduced on 1 May, 2010.

Eligibility:

• Many people particularly the daily wage earners, common poor people

Benefits:

• Indoor patient who admitted in medical college get Rs 75 per day
• District hospital will give Rs 50 and health centre will give Rs 30
• It give support to the poor people who admitted in general ward
