Tamil Nadu attracts over Rs. 2 lakh cr. investments

• Nearly Rs. 2,42,160-crore worth investments were finalised at the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet, more than double of the Rs. 1 lakh crore targeted by the government, Chief Minister Jayalalithaa said.

• The government would come out with policies for textiles, micro, small and medium enterprises, IT and ITES, electronics, aerospace and defence production.
